With the help of the LDC, Adelphi received tax bonds for the purposes of renovation, equipping and furnishing of a civic facility consisting of the following:
(i) construction on the Nexus Building and Welcome Center
(ii) renovation and equipping and furnishing of existing buildings known as Levermore Hall, Alunmae Hall, and Earle Hall, which shall include, but not be limited to, electrical upgrades, asbestos abatement, bathroom renovation and general repairs; and
(iii) other maintenance projects on the 70 acre Garden City campus.
